About
We're building the platform we wish we had.
Dockfly exists because shipping a side project shouldn't take a weekend of yaml. We want every developer in Southeast Asia to be one git push away from a real, running app.
Story
Founded in 2026, in Jakarta.
Dockfly started as a weekend project in early 2026. We were two engineers building tools for our own team — tired of explaining Kubernetes to junior developers who just wanted their PR to deploy somewhere.
The first internal version ran on a single VPS, used Docker Compose, and had a single page that listed services. Within a month, every team in the building was asking for access.
Today, Dockfly runs across multiple regions and serves hundreds of developers shipping real production traffic. The mission stays the same: make the simplest path the right path.
Values
How we think about building.
Tools should not be a tax.
Most days, the friction between idea and ship comes from tooling — not the code. We're here to remove that tax.
Build like you ship.
We deploy Dockfly with Dockfly. The dogfooding makes everything better, faster, and a little weirder.
Local first, global ready.
Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Philippines. Frankfurt and US-East next. Latency matters.
Team
Small, opinionated, remote-first.
Six humans, mostly in Jakarta, with help from contributors around the world.
